"Wir Danken Dir, Gott, Wir Danken Dir," one of 209 surviving cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach. He usually wrote a new one for every Sunday's service at the Lutheran Church where he was organist and director of music, among his many other duties; not to mention that he had over twenty children of his own. It has been estimated that if a man worked full time to copy, just copy, Bach's work it would take him a full 70 years to complete this task. Bach was a genius of prodigious creativity and unending energy, all to the glory of God. He dedicated every composition to Jesus Christ. Gabe Meruelo.
