  2. For decades Glenn Gould has been considered to be one of the best interpreters of Johann Sebastian Bach. His brilliant career was cut short at age 50 when he died of a stroke. He had expressed that he felt he would die by age 50. He was a notorious hypochondriac who took multiple pills every day, which probably hastened his premature death. Gabe Meruelo.
