I find Anton Bruckner's music an acquired taste. The more one listens to it the more right it sounds. It doesn't bore with repeated hearings; it develops more depth and beauty. Bruckner was one of the best symphonysts of all time. He was a very humble man, deeply religious, and socially awkward. On one occasion he gave a tip to the conductor who led the orchestra in one of his symphonies. The man accepted the coin and lovingly carried it with him on a chain from then on. Gabe Meruelo.
